Discover the highlights of the SEAMLESS Demonstration Use Case 1 (DUC1) Demonstration Day, held in Horten, Norway. Bringing together industry leaders, researchers, technology developers and public stakeholders, the event marked a major milestone in the project’s journey towards automated, connected and sustainable waterborne logistics.
The demonstration showcased how autonomous vessels, Remote Operation Centres (ROCs), smart cargo handling systems and advanced digital logistics platforms can be seamlessly integrated within a real logistics chain. Through live demonstrations, expert presentations and collaborative discussions, participants gained first-hand insight into the technologies, operational concepts and stakeholder cooperation needed to enable the future of autonomous maritime transport.
