INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL LAW FOR TRANSPORT, LOGISTIC AND MOBILITY (IDIT)

Role in the project: IDIT will analyse the existing regulatory framework around the deployment of autonomous vessels in SSS (Short Sea Shipping) and IWT (Inland Waterway Transport). In order to identify the regulatory gaps and support policy recommendation, the institute will address the safety and liabilities issues in international conventions, European and national regulations with case law, risk analysis, liability issues and insurance.
