SEAMLESS at the MultiRELOAD Final Event in Duisburg

Last week, SEAMLESS was represented at the final event of the MultiRELOAD project, coordinated by Duisport.
During the event, Cyril Alias (DST – Development Centre for Ship Technology and Transport Systems) presented the vision and progress of SEAMLESS, outlining how the project advances:
- Automated and digitally integrated inland waterway logistics
- The transition towards zero-emission and smart shipping solutions
- Stronger multimodal connections across European transport corridors
The event was also attended by Prof. Ventikos (NTUA – National Technical University of Athens), reinforcing the strong engagement of the SEAMLESS consortium in Europe’s inland waterway innovation ecosystem.
Such cross-project exchanges are essential to ensure alignment, avoid fragmentation, and maximise impact across Horizon Europe initiatives.
