The first Advisory Board meeting of the SEAMLESS project

  • 19/02/2026

On Tuesday, February 17th, we had the pleasure of hosting the first Advisory Board meeting of the SEAMLESS project.

We were honoured to be joined by Ørnulf Rødseth, Kristoffer Kloch, and Raphaël Wisselmann, whose expertise spans autonomous systems, industry deployment, and regulatory governance.

The discussion was vivid and highly productive, with a strong focus on our two Demonstration Use Cases and their strategic positioning within the European logistics ecosystem.

Our Advisory Board members provided insightful and forward-looking guidance. Not only on the technical and regulatory dimensions of the demos, but also on their scalability and transferability across different European waters.

In particular, the discussion explored:

  • how autonomous waterborne logistics can move beyond pilot environments,
  • how regulatory alignment can evolve alongside technological maturity, and
  • how SEAMLESS can maximise its impact across maritime and inland corridors in Europe.

We are grateful for the constructive feedback and strategic direction offered by our Advisory Board. Their contribution reinforces SEAMLESS’ ambition: not merely to demonstrate autonomy, but to define a credible pathway toward scalable deployment across European waterways.

The coming months will be decisive as we move toward the DUC1 demonstration in June 2026 and the DUC2 demonstration later this year.
